Who's Who in 2011?

This week sees the publication of the 2011 edition of Who's Who, the renowned record of the shapers of contemporary life, first published in 1849. Some of those listed are celebrities (for which the first OED reference is also 1849), some are VIPs; many have interesting and unusual hobbies (another 19th-century sense of a much older word).
