OED Online uses frames to make navigation and display of information more flexible, and retrieval of information faster. However, frames don't help with an important activity of the site, printing out the entry for later reading.

That's why each entry also has a Print button, allowing you to obtain a version of the entry that's intended for printing.

Here's what the normal, interactive entry for 'quinella' looks like, and its printable version:

If you wish, you can get a printable version of any entry or results list just by clicking the Print button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page. This will cause a printable page to be displayed - use your browser's print command to obtain a hard copy of this page on your local printer.
